2 new team members, free tech sales learning sessions, and scaling our industry instructor model
Howdy Earlyworkers! 🤠
It’s been a hot minute 😮💨 but a lot has changed at Earlywork, so we thought we’d share with y’all what we’ve been up to the last couple of months.
We just completed our first Academy cohort of 2024 (Cohort 8), and we’ll be announcing a new program offering next month 👀
Here’s a rundown of what’s been happening:

What’s been happening with the team?
Welcomed two new team members: Emylyn Wie and Oscar Wehbe have joined our Fellow Success and Fellow Admissions teams respectively. Now at 8 employees, with a 9th on the way 👀
Ran our first-ever cohort taught entirely by industry instructors: our first cohort of 2024 was led start-to-finish by Nick Pringle (Impact.com) and Sam Wardle-Reid (BuildPass).
We also welcomed Reuben George (CrowdStrike) & Eric Cech (Yotpo) to our instructor team. If you’re interested in joining our instructor crew, shoot Dan a message!
Launched FREE tech sales intro sessions: For folks who are exploring people-oriented careers in tech but not sure about sales vs. other paths, we’re now running a live, free version of our first Earlywork Academy session so you can dip in and get a better sense of what tech sales involved.
Ran our Path to Power event on women in tech sales: Some epic insights from Aliza Knox (ex-Twitter, ex-Cloudflare), Juri Han (ex-Google Sales), and Bella Codsi (AWS) on the misconceptions and realities about pursuing a tech sales career as a woman.
Behind the scenes: helping an early-stage startup hire & train their first two sales reps: Great to work together with our long-time partner, BuildPass, to go behind the curtain on how they hired two past Academy graduates, Mia Muriti (Ex-Event Planner) and Sam Wardle-Reid (Ex-Primary School Teacher).
Earlywork Wall of Love: We’e built a dedicated hub showcasing LinkedIn posts and videos from our graduates once they’ve started roles in sales, for folks looking to learn from others who have started in tech sales.
